No matter how many times it is repeated on TV or if I'm bored and pop the DVD in, I can happily watch this over and over again. Gorman isn't the funniest stand up (Check out youtube) but he is a masterful story teller. Most of the extras are pretty rubbish fillers, but a couple are good. You can expand the story when prompted and he explains it in more depth. Also a Q and A session with the audiance offers some interesting insite into how he works. If you like this, I recommend the Dave Gorman Collection, which you can only buy through his website. And if you can find ways to get it, his Important Astrology Experiment is excellent.

happy or sad, i love peoples journies. This was excellent. I first saw it late night on paramount tv and only caught half of it, i hadnt seen (knowingly) watched any of his earlier stuff andjust assumed it was an odd fictional tv show... how wrong could i be. i was entranced to wath the rest of it, then again, i saw it again, but just the end, THEN i made sure i was able to watch all of it the next time it came on and again i was laughing as much as was possible without sounding like a maniac. so i got the dvd, the extras and dvd features are brill and they just add to the laughs nd happily answer all questions i had. can't go wrong with such a crazy journey.

Possibly the best stand-up show you will ever see...

Well, ok it's not strictly speaking a stand-up show. It's more a lecture with laughs. But please don't let that put you off. This has to be one of the funniest dvds that I have ever seen. It is told with such pananche and energy that you cannot fail to be sucked in. Dave Gorman is a master story-teller and paints such vivid pictures. This dvd is worth every penny. I'd have been happy to pay full price for this, bearing in mind that the actual show itself is nigh on two hours long. And I absolutely guarantee that you will be on the internet after you've watched this, trying to find your own Googlewhacks. Oddly, 'onomatopoeic somnambulist' isn't one. Buy this dvd now. Just do it. Now.

The stage show of the greatest web-centric adventure ever!

I watched this after reading the book, and much of the routine is a word-for-word mirror of the book - but it doesn't matter! Dave's delivery is superb and if you've read the book and know how everything turns out it really doesn't detract from the stage show at all. This is a man who can captivate an audience like no other. For those who don't know what this is about; Dave Gorman received an e-mail saying he's a Googlewhack from a guy in Australia. Thinking this might be an insult, Dave Gorman e-mails the guy only to find out that a Googlewhack is where you enter two words in Google and only get 1 result. Sounds easy - but it certainly isn't. This kicks off an adventure where Dave aims to find Googlewhacks, and meet the owners of the website responsible for the Googlewhack, get them to find one ...and so on! Wanting to get an uninterrupted chain of ten Googlewhacks all met. This takes him all over the world in much the same way as "Are You Dave Gorman" AKA "The Dave Gorman Collective" did. This is all presented with photo slides and charts to build on the docu-comedy style Dave is said to have created. This isn't just a hilarious tale, there's a real human story behind this, and near the end there's a pretty dark moment as Dave Gorman proves that he is only human and at his lowest ebb says something to someone which he comes to regret. This is clever comedy which will be appreciated by all, and the DVD extras are the icing on an otherwise perfect cake.
