Probably best for a die-hard fan
| Customer Rating: | This is not an annual in the true sense of the word (No quizes, wordsearches or short stories).
There is an awful lot of very small writing in this storybook and a comic strip, so it probably best you don't give this to younger child.
Older children (and adults) will love this book though. |

| Customer Rating:  | Firstly a quick word for the uninitiated, as with last year there are effectively two Doctor Who annuals published this year - the 'Doctor Who Annual 2008' is a cheap and nasty item padded out with pointless filler material and should be avoided unless you are under 5 years old, the 'Doctor Who Storybook 2008' however is an infinately more classy proposition, featuring 1 comic strip and 7 illustrated text stories, and will be appreciated by older fans.
As to the quality of this years Stoybook it isn't QUITE up to last years, but then it had a very high bar to reach. Still, if you're looking for a PROPER annual that will give you more than 5 minutes reading time, THIS is the one to buy! |
