after reading all the reviews about this book, i have to say i was expecting more. in my opinion, it read more like a long article about how to cope with twins.

i raced through it in one afternoon, and although there are some very pertinent tips on coping with twins, i was disappointed there wasn't more about possible medical complications and questions to ask.

good first book to read (to ease you in maybe) but might be better when teamed with a book that has hard and fast medical facts.

Fab book

This is only the second book on twins I have bought. The first scared me senseless. This book was excellent. It was informative, and not patronising, and also had a great sense of humour.
Loved the fact that it has a british author, and not americanised.

Really recommend it.

Most useful book for twin mums

This book is really useful for anyone expecting twins or who has just had them. There is a lot of anecdotal advice about what the author found useful with her twins and you don't feel bullied into doing what she says. There is a very handy list of what to buy - although products have changed a bit since publication it gives you an idea of what to look for e.g. when buying a double buggy. It definitely helped me in the first few months after having my twins as you have some ideas for things to try, know that there are other twin mums in the same boat as you, and most importantly, it makes you see the funny side of your twin-related problems. I would say it is much more useful than more formal pregnancy or childcare books, and all the cartoons ring true!

Fantastic

I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with twins, and bought this book as it had so many good reviews. They were well justified!

I have laughed out loud and and tears for how special i feel for being pregnant with twins...

Excellent book, highly recommended. Full of useful information, with a funny spin on things also.

Giving parents the information they need. Whilst realistic enough to say having twins is hard work, the author also injects some humour and joy into the situation. I bought this for a friend who is expecting twins. Emma's ten great things about having twins is now above her desk, to remind her of the joy when she is feeling fed up
