Great start, disappointing development

I really like Kim Baldwin's books but I personally found "Focus of Desire" a bit disappointing. The beginning shows signs of a great story but the latter half becomes quite repetitive with several paragraphs containing the leading characters' going over the same thoughts. I also found slightly unbelievable the dramatic changes shown by the two women. However, I still found it romantic and was glued to the book for a day, so read it and see what you think.
