Great for schools
| Customer Rating: | | While I appreciate the previous review, it is a very useful book to have in school. It provides quick 'toolkits' that can be used to help children remember the key features of particular texts but does not try and dampen teachers expertise with boring, un-creative worksheets. Would buy the next one! |
Disappointed
| Customer Rating: | | I was looking for something to help my ten year old daughter practice her writing skills and develop a taste for writing. This was a bad choice. I imagined it would have some fun writing exercises, to apply some of the advice it gives - it doesn't. It is very repetitious and is basically just page after page of stating the obvious. Sorry, but I really wouldn't recommend it. |
