The pictures are very small

I bought it to boost my confidence (as suggested by a reviewer)and it looked like a good buy for the price (quite cheap)but the pictures were too small and my clinical tutor says some of the techniques are not really recommended (and old fashiond).

This book is a good one to keep in your pocket when your start your clinical placements and still in need of reminders! :-) Is not really thorough enough for in-depth study, but a really good buy to help with your confidence.

Think before you buy

The thumbnail pictures of position were useful to me but the images too small to help my studies. It is easy to orientate yourself around the book.

Some techniques seem a little old fashioned and there are no alternatives offered when they could be considered. Sometimes a technique which might increase radiation dose to sensitive organs is the only one described. There are some errors in technique which would confuse some students. The bibliography contains quite old texts (when newer ones are available).
