I like and use all the "Practice in the Basic Skills" Maths books. I use them for practise to accompany my teaching Maths since years. They are brilliant, because their content is the foundation everyone should have.
Parents would do well to do these exercises with their children, it prepares them well and it would show difficulties they might have.
