good but not great
| Customer Rating: | This book is good at giving you a concice overview of the topics that are covered in AQA AS Chemistry but it does have a few problems.
a) it does not keep up to date with the specification and either misses out key parts or adds in things that were taken out. Bear in mind that this product is the first edition and although there is meant to be a second edition from 2005, it does not seem to be available.
b) the book can sometimes give poor or overcomplicated definitions or explanations making it hard to follow
Overall this book is good at being an overall AS revision, with questions provided too. But, its lack of specification help and sometimes overcomplicated work it is not perfect. I would suggest purchasing the individual Collins Student Support Materials for each AQA Module. These will be more beneficial. |
