If you've got the season one companion then you will know what to expect ... and you won't be disappointed. There are the usual backgrounds on each episde, as well as interviews with the main actors (Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Jim Beaver, etc). I tend to find the "did you know" bits and pieces really interesting, and the episode "music" notes tell you know the name and artist for that classic rock tune that you know but just can't place. There are also several pages of glossy colour photos (stills and promo photos). Overall a great companion for season 2 which is on the same format as the season 1 guide. And joy of joys can be used along side the dvd to point out those small things you may have missed (like the license plate number change on metallicar - I'd missed that one). It's nice to have a companion/guide for such a great show that has had some thought put into it and just been thrown together to cash in on it's popularity.
