I've read this book, and to call it underwhelming would be an understatement. I'm rather ashamed to admit that I was actually taken in by the numerous 5 star reviews. Looking at them now however, it's plainly obvious to see that they were all written by La Ruina. For such an apparent "ladies man", the guy sure seems to spend an awful lot of time surfing the internet.

while I may commend someone trying to help others to be as successful as him with women (although I serious doubt that the author is successful with women), and while I agree that for a heterosexual man getting beautiful women leads to a happier life, I cannot and will not allow the other reviewers who gave this book positive reviews blight the blunt truth. this book, like so many con-artists books, sets out to tell readers things that are, quite frankly false. the readers want to believe anyway simple because they have not bothered to think for themselves. if all these pick up artists are as good as they claim they would have been able to take the likes of Jessica Alba, or Angelina Jolie or Kate Bosworth off their boyfriends. the reason why they cannot is because the nature of relationships, and human bonding, is NOT what these idiots claim it is. the reason many readers buy into this rubbish is because they don't bother to go out and think for themselves, and come to their own realisations and conclusions, and will forever be asking for the advice of others and not bother to think for themselves here are a few answers for the ignorant: 1) you can make someone like you - they do or they don't. deal with it. idiots like the authors claims you can, that's total BS 2) if someone likes you, there's very little work to get her number, go on a date 3) women are very superficial - just like us men. this means that ugly women don't get much dates, just like ugly fat balding men don't attract good looking women books like this fill a market - for the sad losers out there who will hang on to any piece of hope. REMEMBER: all because something's written in a book does not necessarily mean that its true.

Awful waste of time

WARNING! Anybody rating this 5 stars must be working for the author. Do not trust their reviews. This book comprises a shockingly shallow diary of the author's conquests interspersed with some obvious "tips" (dress nicely, and make eye contact - breaking news hardly). His diary includes proud boasts of seducing virgins, a shallow tale of attending a party where Paris Hilton turned up and mostly cringeworthy and irritating encounters (and I do not doubt some are memoirs of his fantasy). This diary was written pretty much to reassure the author that he is the king of pick up artists and provides nothing for the reader. There is not much here that is useful if you wish to learn to be more successful with women. A serious tip - Save your money and purchase Mystery Method instead - I found that a thoroughly engaging and more useful book. Or learn about Neurolinguistic planning through Derren Brown.

Could Buy Better...

To be honest I can't comment fully on this book as I haven't read it all. It was that dull. I've read and would recommend The Game by Neil Strauss, and to a certain extent the Mystery Method as background reading. However the fact that this didn't hold my attention on a subject that really intrigues me is proof enough. I'm not sure how many of these reviews are real and I'm sure the writer knows how seduce a woman. But in my humble opinion your money is better spent elsewhere.

really poor book. Uninteresting stories. A couple of good tips but he seems to have spent more time writing fake reviews than he did writing the book itself.
