I have only recently started playing the guitar, but have been playing other intruments for a good few years. I am pretty hopeless in trying to tune my guitar by ear, so this little tool is perfect. Plus its a two-in-one if you have a bass guitar as well. I am not sure what the 1-star review for this product is about, I can only think that their unit was faulty or something. After tuning my guitar, all the strings ring beautifully and I repeat it every few days. A good investment for guitar player experienced or beginner. I would recommend you reading your the instruction manual if you are new the the guitar or not sure about notes/tuning in general. Its helpful if you know which string should be what note before tuning.

I started learning guitar in December 07 and found this simple and easy to use. Tuned my guitar in under 10 minutes without any hassle. Well worth the money. Compared to other tuners I have borrowed from friends this is by far the easiest to use. Those flashing little lights are really helpful - rather than annoying!!

The last time i had a guitar i was 18 years old i am now 49 years old on the 21st of may and i have had a guitar for a week and forgot how to tune it , with this tuner it took me only 10 minits to tune it i would recomend it for any one with a guitar BOB WALSALL

Lights flash at random with absolutely no correlation with pitch. Don't waste your money.
